The eighth webinar in the IAIA-FothergillTC Digital Impact Assessment Series continues to explore the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Impact Assessment (IA) process. 

IAIA25 Conference Focus: Giuseppe Magro and Valentina Cavanna, key leaders behind IAIA25, will discuss AI’s role in IA, including risks, opportunities, and the specific focus on Health Impact Assessment. Magro, an Adjunct Professor at the University of Bologna and chair of IAIA25, brings over 20 years of experience in digital permitting systems. Cavanna, an environmental law expert, contributes her legal expertise and is co-chair of IAIA’s Health Section.

The webinar will be divided into three sections: an introduction by Josh Fothergill, a discussion on IAIA25’s theme by Magro and Cavanna, and a 15-20 minute Q&A session will follow.
